If you are an avid connoisseur of smashburgers, you will love this diner! Thin juicy mouthwatering burgers served on a soft bun, customized with the fixings of your choice. The bacon double cheeseburger was delicious! The service is fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable. The ambiance is good, capped with 1950s classic rock music playing in the background. A drive thru window is available to grab a bite on the go. If you love diner style food, you will NOT be disappointed. Great hidden gem with epic burgers.

Awesome retro feel joint with a real good burger I must say! Fries, curds and banana-split all were good. The staff was super friendly and the food came out fast. The place was uber clean and everything was in its place. Parking lot is decent, plenty of parking and it’s easy in and out so you don’t have to mess around. When we were there the sun started beating in and they lowered an outside awning which made it that much easier to enjoy. Nice job to owners and staff!

In town for work, husband was searching for something fast. Most places did not have a good review. He came across this place. Not one to chance eating somewhere new. He ordered, and it was ready before the time given. I have to say, it was very much worth the price. Not expensive. The food was delicious. We had double cheeseburgers and fries. It was around 20. I loved it so much that before leaving the next day we went back. This time we got the same thing but I added a strawberry sundae with hot fudge. This totalled about 25. The sundae was huge! Once again they really left a lasting memory. Although it is a 3 1/2 hour drive there, I would make that trip just to eat there again. A must stop if you are in Jacksonville!

One of my favorite places in Jacksonville. I always make sure to stop by if only for a milksake. The food is always tasty and served in a timely manner. The establishment is clean and offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Easily in the Top 5 milkshakes I've ever had.

This is an old fashioned establishment that offers food that’s fast yet better than the corporate chains. I love the Mini Tacos, the smash burgers and the cheese curds! Excellent customer service and even better food!

Casual, order at the counter, burger and shake joint. They set up some tables for our team after our tournament. Easy place to meet others and hang out for a while. Food was good as expected, I felt like the sides were a little overpriced for the portion, but everything else was reasonable, i think. We didn't get any dessert, but everyone else said the ice cream was good.

"A hole in the wall" restaurant is often synonymous with a hidden gem eatery. While no one can quite pinpoint why this cliche has become a seemingly American staple, I can, with great confidence and fervor, call Burger Board as such: ubiquitous, quintessential, hidden gem perfection, one triple crispy-edged smash burger at a time. I had only taken one bite of their triple smash (with all of the free fixings), when I knew I had struck gold. However, I suppose I can't take credit for this "discovery," nor be at all surprised; Burger Board is one of the highest rated restaurants in all of quaint Jacksonville, IL. I'm thrilled to confirm that all the five-stars are appropriately rated; I would change nothing about my burger, to which, that's the highest compliment I could offer. Oh, and their malts are giant and delicious. recommend this joint. You will NOT be disappointed!
